Inanda Community Radio station is rooted in the community with an audience of 51 000 listeners, enjoying support of various formations, and participating actively in the Urban Renewal Project of INK area to the Greater eThekwini Municipality and the outskirts of Pietermaritzburg, Inchanga, Tongaat, Ugu District, Stanger and Port Shepstone. They have been mandated to serve the developmental needs linked with the Urban Renewal Projects currently taking place within the broadcast footprint.
The station is broadcasting programmes that deal with the daily challenges facing women, youth, children, people with disabilities and the community at large. These programmes will be looked from the angle of how the INK Urban Renewal Node implementation is addressing these issues, broadcasting in Zulu, English and Xhosa. The focus of the programmes will be on ensuing that opportunities due to the community are given prominence through the airwaves.
